WFYO Used $145,300 Grant to Advance E-Counselling Services
December 11, 2023We extend our sincerest thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for presenting WES for Youth […]
Jenn has been with WES for Youth Online since 2013, bringing her personal experience and dedication to improving youth mental health. After the passing of her sister, Melissa, in 2012, Jenn shifted her career focus to mental health, determined to make a difference in the lives of young people.
Starting as Volunteer Coordinator, Jenn was responsible for recruiting and training volunteers, ensuring the organization had strong mental health advocates. In 2014, she moved into the role of Youth Outreach Coordinator, where she developed the organization’s youth programs and established its first youth advisory committee, The WES Crew.
Her leadership and vision were quickly recognized, and just two years later, Jenn was appointed Executive Director. Since then, she has led WES for Youth Online to become a provincially recognized leader in youth mental health services. With a solid background in business administration, marketing and management, Jenn has been instrumental in aligning the organization’s strategic direction with the evolving needs of today’s youth.
In 2023, under Jenn’s guidance, WES for Youth Online launched our innovative e-counselling platform, enhancing accessibility to mental health services for youth across Ontario. Jenn is driven by a passion for youth mental health and wellness, and remains committed to helping young people navigate the resources available to them, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.
