The tennis court has long been Trudeau’s emotional and physical tool for remaining resilient, focused, and able to remain self-confident in the face of life’s daily challenges. During the pandemic, Trudeau, like most Canadian students struggled with his mental health and the lack of socialization but was able to articulate his generation’s concerns in an article and podcasts for The Walrus and became a youth activist. Trudeau is often described as good mediator, easy to talk to, empathetic, funny and above all able to listen to his peers, when they need a friendly ear and help dealing with student issues in his high school. He looks forward to working with the WES crew and being part of changing the conversation.
