Dillon is a seasoned communicator specializing in crafting and executing strategic publicity campaigns that garner strong results for a diverse range of clients. An academic background in psychology, communications, and an interest in helping people tell their stories led him to pursue a career in public relations. With over a decade of combined experience in television production and PR, he wields a calculated and creative edge as the founder of Dillon James PR, confidently producing and sharing stories with authenticity.
Dillon volunteers with Kids Help Phone Line where he continues to refine his compassion, active listening, and crisis intervention skills. He also sits on a committee for Fix the 6ix, which finds ways to support the unhoused community by teaming up with like-minded agencies to bridge critical resource gaps for shelters in Toronto. As a board member with WES for Youth Online, he is eager to advocate for and champion the adolescent community it serves. While running his PR practice, Dillon is actively applying to graduate school for a master’s degree in social work, hoping to one day join the roster of therapists at WES for Youth Online.
Originally from Ottawa, Dillon lives in downtown Toronto with his partner and 7-lbs Maltese.
