WFYO Used $145,300 Grant to Advance E-Counselling Services
December 11, 2023We extend our sincerest thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for presenting WES for Youth […]
Emma joined the WES for Youth team in September 2018, taking on the role of Community Relations Director. Through fundraising initiatives and events, Emma’s responsibilities include nurturing positive working relationships with community partners, to assist in providing youth with better mental and emotional support across Ontario.
With an aligned passion for fundraising, event development and donor engagement, Emma looks to provide insight and resource knowledge to the next generation of fundraisers in philanthropy. As a graduate of media studies and communications, with a specialization in public relations from the University of Guelph-Humber, Emma’s working knowledge of media best practices and outreach effectively compliment her prior industry and employment experience.
Emma’s career in fundraising began in 2016 as corporate partnerships and area coordinator at SickKids Foundation. During this time, Emma engaged in the art of storytelling, travelling across the GTA to inspire and engage corporate partners in donor-centric activities designed to achieve the highest possible fundraising results.
Emma’s passion for helping others, her positive attitude, drive and willingness to learn has enabled her to take part in a variety of community support initiatives such as Dancers for Change and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey Bruce . In her spare time, Emma helps couples plan their big day of love as a Certified Wedding Coordinator.
