Cathy Howes brings over twenty years experience in various aspects of business, including six
years teaching at Lambton College (Finance & Accounting); and thirteen years building and
running her own company. She is a strong believer in community involvement, and has done so
throughout her life, beginning with Junior Optimists, participating in safer driving initiatives,
installing breakfast programs, advocating for mental health awareness, and organizing
volunteers/fundraising for local charities. She currently sits on the Board of Directors and serves
as Treasurer for Lambton Elderly Outreach. Other than four years spent at the University of
Windsor, obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting, she was
born and raised in Sarnia Lambton. She continues to reside there with her husband, Brad and
has two grown daughters, Ashley and Maddy.
