As a former Chepstow Ontario resident, Laura Webb loves working in the community. She brings over 15 years of experience in the municipal recreation sector and enjoys being able to tangibly see the difference one can make in someone else’s life. Recreation has provided Laura with a special lens to better understand staff and participants on a diverse level. Throughout her working career, she has seen young staff struggle with anxiety and depression, who in turn are afraid to reach out. Laura has seen children in several programs with various mental health concerns, who cannot find a clear path in seeking the help that they need. Together, she believes that we can take great strides to help ensure the youth in our community and our province as a whole, receive better emotional, physical and mental health care.
