As a former Chepstow Ontario resident, Laura Webb loves working in the community. She brings 15
years of experience in the municipal recreation sector and enjoys being able to tangibly see the
difference one can make in someone else’s life. Recreation has provided Laura with a special lens to
better understand staff and participants on a diverse level. As the current Chapter Manager for Autism
Ontario- York Region, she has seen staff struggle with anxiety and depression, who in turn are afraid to
reach out. Laura has seen children in several programs with various mental health concerns, who cannot
find a clear path in seeking the help that they need. Together, she believes that we can take great
strides to help ensure the youth in our community and our province as a whole, receive better
emotional, physical and mental health care.
We provide an ongoing one-to-one connection with a professional counsellor. Our online counselling service allows youth to connect with a professional and qualified counsellor by self referral, to explore the issues being faced in a secure and online environment.
