With 25 years experience, Lisa is a Registered Psychotherapist and International Alcohol and Drug Counsellor who has helped youth overcome struggles that may be affecting their everyday lives. Recent accomplishments include completion of Cybercounselling Level I and II.
Lisa is passionate about assisting individuals find their voice and empower themselves to make changes in their lives. She prefers to collaborate with the individual to utilize their own strengths to meet personal needs and develop goals. Lisa is a firm believer in talking to someone regularly, that it is okay to ask for help.
Her personal philosophy is there is no problem too big to solve with a little help. Lisa is confident in self-management and enjoys helping young people develop the ability to make skilled choices.
She can provide non-judgemental, open-minded and respectful counselling support, using a wide range of therapeutic modalities including: experiential, narrative, CBT, and emotional-focused therapies. Lisa has an eclectic approach to ensuring that everyone feels listened to, and supported.
