Melissa is a talented, experienced manager with a proven ability to engage stakeholders and deliver results. She manages a team across three physical sites (in-person and virtual) to assist individuals with Disabilities, Newcomers to Canada, Francophone, and LGBTQ2S in gaining employment.
Melissa also identifies and develops various community events and programs in accordance with the
organization’s mission and vision.
Melissa is known for being a detail-oriented, well-organized team player who can handle multiple tasks at
once. She’s considered a go-to person for brainstorming creative ideas for events, activities, or marketing, and is often asked for assistance by colleagues seeking some type of creative idea to solve their problems. Coming up with innovative ideas and helping others are what she enjoys most.
Being an advocate for youth, Melissa has managed various youth programs for over 15 years, working closely with vulnerable populations. As a person who has been at crossroads in life, she knows how difficult it can be to know where to turn. She is passionate about assisting individuals who wish to re-enter the workforce or learn and develop new skills
